jennifer james

Jennifer was born in Clearwater, Florida but has been in Georgia for most of her life. Before coming to The Village Vets she worked in another canine facility and also volunteered at the Georgia Aquarium.  Jennifer gained hands on experience working with sea otters and penguins. When she is not working at TVV, she is on the road performing at weddings and events. She currently has seven pets of her own - Dallas (Newfoundland), Savannah  (Newfoundland), Harlow (pit bull) - pictured, and four cats - Sully, Jett, Taz, and Lucy.  Jennifer is currently in school studying to be a registered veterinary technician. She hopes to one day work with exotic animals.

Why she does this:  "I was born into this world with two passions - music and animals.  I have a strong bond and connection with animals; they fulfill a part of me that nothing else will. Keeping animals happy and healthy is my priority so that they can also enrich and fulfill the lives of others."

Rich Minter

Richard was born and has lived in Georgia his entire life.  His two passions have always been sports and animals.  Richard attended two years (2008-10) at Valdosta State University to pursue a degree in biology and plans to continue working toward that degree in order to fulfill his dream of becoming a veterinarian.  Michael says his love and compassion for animals began with his family’s first dog, Michael.

Why he does this: “I want to care for animals to the very best of my ability and I feel there is no better place to do that than The Village Vets.  I vow that all animals and owners will be treated with respect and give first class service”.
