The Village Vets of Decatur is located in the heart of the city of Decatur, one of metro Atlanta's most popular and sought-after neighborhoods.  It opened its doors on March 26, 2001.  The practice started the same facility as the former Decatur Veterinary Hospital, Dekalb County's first veterinary practice.  

On June 2, 2008, The Village Vets of Decatur moved to its new home (rendering shown above) at 217 N. McDonough Street (across from Decatur High School)  in early Summer 2008.  To learn more, click here.

From Tucker:  Take Hwy. 29/Lawrenceville Hwy into Decatur.  Make a left on Church Street, and follow that into downtown Decatur. Take Church St. to E. Trinity St. and make a right  Take E. Trinity down to No. McDonough Street and make a left.  We are down the street on the left, across from Decatur High School.

From I-285:  Take I-285 to Hwy 78/Stone Mtn. Fwy going west towards Decatur.  Hwy 78 merges with Hwy 29/Lawrenceville Hwy, which follows to Church St. Make a left on Church Street, and follow that into downtown Decatur. Take Church St. to E. Trinity St. and make a right.  Take E. Trinity down to No. McDonough St. and make a left. 

From I-20:  Take Candler St. exit going North.  Follow Candler St. to College Ave. and make a left.  Make a right on No. McDonough St., go over the train tracks, and we are down the street on the right.

Cedar Village, the first of The Village Vets practices, was opened in 1980 by Dr. Steven Soloway.  Drs. Tyler and Draper purchased the practice on March 8, 2000, and moved the practice to its present location in October 2007.  The practice name was changed at that time.

From I-85:  Exit 99 Jimmy Carter Blvd East.  Make a left on Rockbridge Road, and take to Five Forks Trickum Road- then make a right.  Go down just past Five Forks Trickum Road, and The Village Vets is on the right just past Walgreens Pharmacy.

From Stone Mtn: Rockbridge Road to Five Forks Trickum Road- make a left.  The Village Vets is on the right, just past Walgreens Pharmacy.

From Decatur: Take 78 East (towards Athens) to Hugh Howell Road. Make a right on Lilburn-Stone Mountain Road, and then a right at the first light on Old Stone Mountain Road. This road becomes Five Forks Trickum Road, and The Village Vets is on the left, just after the church.
