Dr. Will "Guest Expert" on WebMD

webmdlogoforwebsiteDr. Will starts his stint as "Guest Expert" on WebMD's "Healthy Pets Community TV."  He will answer pet questions on the community board, and also star in a series of pet education videos discussing dog and cat health issues.  The 3 minute spots will be presented over the next few months.

"Recovery Plan" for Rescue Groups

The Village Vets continues to be the leader in the Atlanta veterinary community in supporting local rescue groups by offering low-cost veterinary services.  Due to the downward trend of our economy over the past two years, donations to these groups have decreased significantly while the homeless pet situation has worsened; making the rescue group's shoe-string budgets even tighter.  We are pleased to announce a new "Recovery Plan".

In addition to the low cost services offered now, we will now offer FREE spays and neuters for our Atlanta area registered/non-profit rescue groups.  Our witness to all the hard work and constant dedication of these rescue groups is what makes our commitment to support their cause even more rewarding.   We are proud to partner with them, and to be able to provide this service.  Donate to help rescue groups here.

Why microchip a pet?  Even if your pet stays totally indoors, there is always a chance that your pet may escape.  Pets frequently take opportunities to sneak out an open door or window, or a natural disaster or house fire may result in the separation of your pet from your family. Unlike collars and tags, which can be lost in these circumstances, microchips offer a permanent, unique method of identification.
